I love having just the right brush to work within Procreate and there are so many wonderful brushes out there to choose from that I thought I’d share a little review with you on the brushes that I’ve come to love while learning to paint and draw on the iPad.

I’m going to start out with two of my favorite new brush packs.
First, let’s start with the Miss Mystique stamp pack. These stamps are so amazing for all kinds of digital art pieces. I find that a good collection of stamps in your tool belt can help you create some Amazon and one-of-a-kind pieces. Simply just mix and match your stamps to the style of your piece and have fun. After all, isn’t that what it’s all about…having fun?

Miss Mystique by Suemomo has a ton of amazing stamps including hands (solid and line art), crystals, florals, and leaves as well as skulls, moths, and bugs. See the sample images of what is included below.

Sketchy Pencil by ResipaintDesign has become one of my go-to texture brush packs. There are only 9 brushes in this pack…which is quite small for some of the brush packs that I’ve purchased in the past. However, these seemingly simple brushes pack and punch with beautiful texture.

Grain 3 has become my new favorite for creating texture over solid colors by creating a clipping mask above and then layering this grain brush with soft strokes and lowering the opacity.

The best thing about these brushes…when you reduce the size of the brush, the grain and texture are also reduced, which means you have so much more control over the pattern and density of the texture as you apply it.

Together these two brush packs are so versatile and can help you create so many amazing pieces.

I would definitely suggest these brushes for just about anyone, beginner to advanced.
